Beginning Summer Band at Legacy Jr. High
Congratulations on deciding to play an instrument this year! Participating in Summer Band will give you a head start for the school year! It is best if you can attend all classes, but I understand summer schedules, so plan to attend as much as you can! The price is the same whether you attend all classes or not.
August 3-6 Monday-Thursday
9:00am Percussion
10:00am Trumpet
11:00am Clarinet
12:30pm Trombone
1:30pm Flute
2:30pm Euphonium/Tuba
Cost: $60 - Pay online through myDSD under optional fees or call the main office at 801-402-4700. Please pay by August 4.
Where: Legacy Jr. High Band Room #1509
Instrument Rental/Purchase: There is an easy way to do it and your instrument will be delivered to the school and be available for your student the first day of Summer Band. It is VERY important that you get set up with the right equipment to help you be successful! I highly recommend Yamaha instruments. They sound better, have less maintenance, and are more durable for beginners.
