Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Speech Contest
The Davis School District Office of Equal Opportunity invites all K-12 students currently enrolled in Davis School District to enter the 2023 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Speech Contest. This allows our students to reflect on the legacy of Dr. King.
We encourage student to participate in this opportunity. The contest connects to the Utah Common Core and DESK Standards in Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening.

- Schools will choose ONE winner. That student will then represent Legacy Jr High at the District level competition.
- Legacy Students will recite their speech on Tuesday October 10th after school in the library.
